ETI Student@Home provides personal web pages for each student with his or her academic information on-line. Timely feedback on assessment scores as teachers grade student's work and record on their gradebook on-line will motivate and inspire students to strive to do better. By having teacher's standards-based lesson plans available before class instruction, students know exactly what they are expected to learn. Students can compare their assessment scores to the class average giving them information to assess their own performance. If the majority of the class did not get the concept taught, perhaps the student does not need to feel like a failure and ask to be taught in a different way.Having the attendance and discipline patterns staring through the computer screen, a student can be motivated to re-evaluate his behavior. Academic records such as progress report, report card, transcript and graduation requirement are available on-line. School calendar and events are also available on-line. | |
